We decided to try this place today due to good reviews and delicious looking photos, and this place did not disappoint. It was really good!
I should mention that Vietnamese style food has been my one of my favorite types of food for about 25 years, back when the only place to find it was in Chinatown in various cities. So let's just say that I've eaten at dozens of Vietnamese restaurants from Montreal to Toronto, East Coast, West Coast and in between. New Orleans has a large Vietnamese population, and loads of great restaurants, most of which we've tried (we used to live there). Last week we ate at a terrible place in Cocoa, so in general we have a good basis for comparison.
The menu is simple and straight forward, and the prices are fantastic.
It is a casual Vietnamese eatery, but it is clean and hip inside. It has a good vibe. You order at the counter after entering, then are given a number. Find a table, and they bring the food out to you quickly.
Today I had the Tofu Tacos (qty 3 for $7.95). These were delicious. I added some additional greens from the fresh herb bar, which is awesome. I am a cilantro addict, so adding a ton more cilantro and fresh basil made these taste amazing. My partner had a chicken Bahn-mi ($6.50), and he was very happy with it. I didn't try it, but it was a good size and I could see fresh greens and cucumber and carrot sticking out. I had suggested he add double meat for an additional $2.00 and he said that he was glad he didn't because he would not have been able to finish it.
We also got the pork rolls ($3.75), and the fresh rolls ($3.75). The pork rolls were larger than expected and were filled with pork (as opposed to having pork along with noodles and veggies). They were really good. The spring rolls were as expected with fresh shrimp and pork and veggies and noodles along with peanut dipping sauce.
We ended up taking home 1 1/2 tacos, a fresh roll and 1/2 a pork roll. We enjoyed this fresh feast for a total of $23.00. We loved it and will be back.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now....& today I "forgot" to bring my lunch so I had a reason to try it out. I didn't go in, I Doordashed it. I ordered the Nuoc-Nom Wingz and the Chicken Banh-Mi  sandwich.

soooooo good!!! Chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I do wish the sandwich had a little more sauce or maybe I should've asked for some sort of sauce on the side. the wings were great... super crispy & flavor was on point !!

I finally tried Viet-Nomz! First impression, parking can be complicated if the plaza where it's located in is busy. Eventually we found a spot (phew!) I wasn't giving up on my craving.

Inside the decor is modern, kinda loud techno-ish music? Didn't stay long as I ordered to go. There is a herb bar you can add bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, basil, etc the most necessary pho additives.

I ordered a beef broth pho bowl with meatballs and flank steak, and added enoki mushrooms ($1.00 upcharge). Because I ordered to-go, the flank, onions and scallions were in the main bowl... I wouldn't let the flank sit long because it comes raw and better to add the broth before it goes cold and therefore wouldn't cook the beef thoroughly. Overall, it was actually very tasteful ! I would love to try some of the side items when I go back.

Huge portions. Friendly service. Appreciate that we finally have a spot like this on the east side. Love the wings. I keep going back #hooked!
